Ultimate 5th Wheel Connection Gen 3 Upgrade Program

We’re excited to offer an upgrade program for our loyal customers looking to transition to the new Ultimate 5th Wheel Connection Gen 3! Please note that upgrading is entirely optional. We continue to stand behind our previous models with the same commitment to quality and support you’ve come to expect from us. (The 3200 Rail Mount 5th Wheel Connection is not eligible for the upgrade program).

Option 1: Standard Upgrade Process

  1. To qualify for the upgrade, simply cut a section of one of the legs (round tube) off your current base. This can be done easily with a metal saw.

  2. Send us a photo of the entire hitch with the section of the leg clearly removed as confirmation.

  3. Once we receive your photo, we will send you an invoice for the new Gen 3 base (part #3240) at the special upgrade price of $500 plus tax.

  4. After the payment has been received, we will send you your new Gen 3 base (part #3240).

    (Shipping is free for the contiguous 48 states only).


Option 2: Purchase and Refund Process

  1. Purchase the new Gen 3 base at full retail price, plus tax and shipping (Product has to be purchased directly from us either through email or on our website. This does not include 3rd party sites like Amazon, Walmart, etc). (Shipping is free for the contiguous 48 states only).

  2. After receiving your new Gen 3, cut a section of one of the legs (round tube) off your current base. This can be done easily with a metal saw.

  3. Send us a photo of the entire hitch with the section of the leg clearly removed as confirmation.

  4. Once we receive your photo, we will refund you the difference between the upgrade price and the full retail price, along with the shipping cost.


Please Note:

  • We strive to ship our products within 2 days, sometimes due to overwhelming demand, shipping timeframes may sometimes extend by 1-2 weeks, though this is not typical.


Frequently Asked Questions:

  • Why do we ask you to cut one of the tubes instead of just shipping it back?

    • The reason we don’t have you ship the product back is primarily due to the high shipping costs. It’s more cost-effective if you keep it. 

    • The reason we ask you to cut the tube is to ensure the hitch can’t be used for more than one upgrade.
